At the end of September 2010, Kyowa Hakko Chemical participated in CHINA COAT 2010, one of the largest coating events in the world. We have participated in the CHINA COAT exhibition for 9 consecutive years and we are getting more attention year by year.During the exhibition, we were pleased to meet many customers not only from China but also from other areas like Southeast Asia, India, Middle East, Oceania, and North & South America.

CHINA COAT (The China Int’l Exhibition for Coatings, Printing Inks and adhesives) is a globally prestigious event in the industry, which has been held annually for 15 years since 1996. This year, 751 companies exhibited and 23,744 people attended the exhibtion.
It is our pleasure not only to see many customers from all over the world but also to take part in CHINACOAT with the great support of our local and global staff (China, Japan US and Singapore).

Waterborne coatings are getting more and more attention these days as one of the leading environmental protection measures focusing on“Sustainability”. DAAM is a unique and functional material used to make resins for waterborne coatings. During the show, we provided a technical seminar on the use of DAAM to make “one pot, self crosslinking” resins for high performance water borne coaitngs. At our booth, we also introduced our synthetic fatty acids, functional diols and performance alcohols to our customers.

This year, we set up many key meetings to talk face to face with our present and potential customers to build good and sound relationships. We are going to strengthen our relationship in this promising coatings & resin market in China and other Asian countries.
